The Las Vegas Junior Golf Association was created to provide junior golfers who already know how to play an opportunity to participate in a competitive tournament atmosphere. The Las Vegas Junior Golf Association has two kinds of events. The Junior Series events are for golfers aged 8 – 11 and will be held weekly during the summer at both Desert Willow and Durango Hills. The Las Vegas Junior Golf Tour events have four divisions: Boys 12-14, Girls 12-14, Boys 15-17 and Girls 15-17.

DragonRidge Country Club is tucked in the mountains above Henderson and offers dramatic views of the Las Vegas valley plus some of the most memorable holes in the Las Vegas Golf Region. The course is a past host of the Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge, a made-for-TV event that pitted the LPGA Tour vs. the PGA TOUR vs. the Champions PGA TOUR.
DragonRidge is now owned and operated by Pacific Links, an international golf company that also oversees Southern Highlands and SouthShore GC.
The Las Vegas Junior Golf Association (LVJGA) is operated by the Southern Nevada Golf Association (SNGA). The SNGA is the official arm of the USGA in Southern Nevada.
“Our main focus at the LVJGA is to give Southern Nevada Junior Golf a home with the ability to showcase the best talent our area has to offer,” says Tanner Bown, Director of Operations.
The LVJGA offers highly competitive tournaments plus a special summer series that is designed for beginners. The organization also organizes travel teams for prestigious regional and national team competitions. The LVJGA is also working on a developmental program.
