Las Vegas, Nev. (Jan. 27, 2016)–There are three Pete Dye signature Las Vegas golf courses at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort. Today comes word that each of them have been included on the GolfAdvisor.com 2015 list of the top 50 golf courses in the United States as determined by avid golfers and more than 121,000 reviews that were submitted last year. The Paiute Vegas courses, Snow Mountain, Sun Mountain and the Wolf, were each included on the prestigious list. All three also were ranked within the top 25 on the list with Sun Mountain coming in among the top five. “We are all extremely proud and humbled that all three of our courses made the Top 50 list on Golf Advisor for 2015,” said Chad Gunier, course GM and a member of the PGA of America. “It’s a true testament to all of the hard work from each one of our staff members to not only the quality and service we strive to provide, but also the course conditions we provide year round. We thank all of our guests who took the time to submit reviews on our behalf.”
According to GolfAdvisor.com editors, more than 75,000 golfers in 2015 took the time to share their golfing experiences on the popular site, resulting in the site’s top 50 golf course list, which was developed by golfers, for golfers. View the entire GolfAdvisor.com list here.
“You’ll find our top 50 list features a handful of courses you’re used to seeing in on a top 100 list somewhere, while others you may have never heard of,” said Brandon Tucker, managing editor, Golf Advisor. “That’s precisely what we hope makes our list useful. An affordable, over-achieving municipal course in rural Texas has as much of a chance of receiving a strong review as a $300 resort course in Arizona.”
Paiute Vegas Courses
The Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort features the three courses and a stunning clubhouse. For years, awards chosen by golfers have been bestowed upon the resort that has a stellar reputation. The Dye courses at the Paiute are known as “kinder, gentler” courses and not quite as challenging as other Dye-abolical courses that the hall of fame designer has created. But that adds up to a great combination and golfers love everything about the Paiute.
On the list, Snow Mountain was ranked 23rd while the Wolf course was 11th. Sun Mountain was ranked 4th. The review the editors chose to best represent Sun Mountain’s comments was the following: “Beautiful course, great condition, surrounded by the desert with distant views of mountains in all directions with no houses within miles.”
