Dynamic Pricing Lets Golfers Choose Las Vegas Tee Times Rates

Dynamic Pricing

Las Vegas, Nev. (Feb. 15, 2016)–Two Las Vegas golf courses have implemented dynamic pricing to the tee sheets, and it now allows Las Vegas golfers to almost choose their own Las Vegas tee times rates, within reason, of course. Siena Golf Club and Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock both now offer the dynamic pricing model that is already in prevalent use in the hotel and airlines industry, but is still relatively new to golf. The online tee sheets of the two courses are now active and give golfers the option to pay less or more, depending upon demand, when a reservation is booked, and other factors. The system was created by EZ Links, and offers golf courses and golfers a lot of flexibility when setting and reserving tee times. The rates can change in many increments throughout the day and golfers can view how much they will pay–or could have paid–if they had acted more quickly in their search for Las Vegas tee times at Siena and Arroyo.

A scan of a recent day–Wednesday, March 17th, reveals that Las Vegas resort golfers could pay anywhere from $59 – $129 for a round, but there were at least six different rates available depending upon time of play. The dynamic pricing will also allow for these rates to vary as the day evolves.

General Manager Thom Blinkinshop is thrilled to have the new tool in use. He believes it is important for the golf industry because it can help manage their revenue streams, but it will also be good for the golfer because they can reserve their tee times directly through the official websites of the golf courses and can choose when and how they pick a tee time, thus saving money.

Siena Golf Club was designed by the esteemed architect duo of Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley. The course is surrounded by the towering Spring Mountains and features gently rolling fairways and artful bunkering plus “dazzling views of the Las Vegas skyline.”

The Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock Country Club is the resort course at the Club and was designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer. The Arroyo course “ribbons seamlessly through the rugged terrain and is nestled between the spectacular landscapes of Red Rock Canyon, one of Las Vegas’ most revered natural landmarks. Panoramic views of the Las Vegas cityscape are stunning from the Arroyo’s hole #7.”
