Las Vegas, Nev. (June 11, 2016)—It’s simple: If the product is good, people will notice. If that product is great, people will not only notice, they will make sure the word gets out. Such is the case with the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort. The resort’s Snow Mountain Course was honored in May, 2016 as being the fourth best experience for golfers for the month. No, that’s not a statewide honor. No, that’s not a U.S. honor. It’s a worldwide honor. –By Bill Bowman
Throughout May, Golf Advisor received more than 8,500 reviews of courses from around the world. For courses to be considered, they had to receive a minimum of five reviews. It’s easy to see that if a course gets a bad review, that course won’t be on the list so that ensures that Paiute’s reviews were all above average. In fact, the May reviews were all five-star. And for its career on the Golf Advisor site, the Snow Mountain Course has received 243 reviews with 238 of the reviewers recommending the course to other players.
The top course in the rankings for the month of May, 2016, was King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort in Saint Simons Island, Ga.
Snow Mountain was the first of the three Pete Dye designed courses built that make up the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.
The layout plays 7,164 yards from the tips. It features water on seven of the holes as well as the famed Dye railroad-tie bunkers. Add in lush fairways, undulating fairways, true-putting greens and brilliant white-sand bunkers and you’ll see why this one is highly rated.
And when you package the Snow Mountain Course in with the Sun Mountain Course and the Wolf Course, the resort offers 54 holes of Dye excellence.
