LAS VEGAS. Nev. (Jan. 20, 2017)–In golf, it’s all about choices. And the choices are varied and impressive at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort. Start with 54 holes of Pete Dye designed masterpieces and add in a variety of playing options (including two membership/club choices as well as replay options) and you’ve got Las Vegas golf experiences that will fit everyone’s desires and pocketbook. — By Bill Bowman.

Let’s start with the golf. How about three 18-hole layouts that are as Dye-namic as they come. From risk/reward holes to Dye’s signature railroad tie bunkering to impressive water holes, this resort has got it all.

We’ll start with the one everyone talks about–The Wolf Course. At 7,604 yards from the tips, it’s one of the longest and most challenging golf courses anywhere. But with different tee options, it’s definitely playable for everyone. The signature hole is definitely the par-3 15th. An island green, this hole requires pin-point accuracy and nerves of steel.

The original course is the Snow Mountain layout and at just under 7,100 yards, the course features rolling fairways with a variety of the best par 3 designs you’ll find.

At the Sun Mountain, players will find 7,112 yards of golf that will test players’ aggressiveness. The finale on each nine is a Tour-tough par-4. Both are dog-legs left and require players to cut off as much of the hole as possible but hazards will penalize those who get too greedy.

The variety continues when it comes to membership/club options including the Paiute Platinum Golf Club membership. The costs are: $6,000 (with a one-time payment) or $6,600 (for 12 monthly payments of $550). There is also a shared plan: $9,000 (with a one-time payment) or $9,600 (for 12 monthly payments of $800). All plans include: Unlimited golf (and no cart fees) on all three courses (there is a PACC fee for Wolf on Saturdays); unlimited range time and much more. But we aren’t done yet. Players can also check out the weekday option which is Monday-Thursday. It’s $3,600 for individuals and $5,400 for a shared plan.

And then there’s the Paiute Advantage Club Card (PACC). The local membership is $249 ($499 with an annual range pass) and $599 for out-of-state membership. The benefits are many and include: Access to all three courses with rates as low as $35; a rewards program that sees 10 percent of green fees purchases credited for future use; guest privileges and rates as well as discounts on events and golf shop merchandise.

The resort also offers GOLFaPalooza deal where players can book a tee time that entitles them to a free lunch as well as a free replay round the same day (with space availability). Click here for those GolfaPalooza details. This special must be booked through the resort only.
