LAS VEGAS, Nev. (May 4, 2017)—In real estate, there’s one saying that has been around forever…location, location, location. Well, in Sun City Summerlin, that saying is becoming more and more appealing to those new to the area or those who have lived here for years who may be looking to relocate. And when you look at the golf options that are also nestled in the area, it’s a very inviting spot. And loyalty is key at Golf Summerlin and several membership options are available to help you save while you play. –By Bill Bowman.

Whether or not you play golf, the Sun City Summerlin destination offers a wide variety of amenities.

But, we’ll start with the golf choices. On any given day, hundreds of customized golf carts dot the courses as well as the roadways of this age-restricted community showing the people of the area are passionate about their courses.

Golf Summerlin boasts three 18-hole layouts designed by Billy Casper and Greg Nash–Highland Falls and Palm Valley, both championship courses, along with Eagle Crest, an executive course.

Eagle Crest is a par-60 layout that features 12 par 3s that will let players work on their short game. The par-3 holes range in length from 115 yards to 224 yards while the par 4s (six of them) will let players grip-it-and-rip-it a couple of times during the round.

Highland Falls’ dramatic elevation changes, added in with stunning Vegas views, give players a solid golf challenge. Don’t let the length fool you (6,512 yards from the tips), it’s all the course players can handle.

Palm Valley’s par 5 holes will give players risk/reward options and the chances to score early and late in the round. It’s the longest of the three (6,824 yards) and is tight enough to test players’ accuracy.

But it’s not just the golf that brings folks to Sun City Summerlin. Click here to learn more. In all, there are more than 7,500 homes in the area.
