Golf Choices Galore at Pete Dye Resort in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Aug. 11, 2017)–Sometimes the choices at some golf courses are limited for players. You usually have a choice for a morning or afternoon tee time on the 18-hole course and that’s about it. Well, at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, golfers’ choices go far beyond just a tee time. Players can choose to play at one of three acclaimed Pete Dye courses (the Wolf, Snow Mountain or Sun Mountain). But, there’s so much more. –By Bill Bowman.

Golfers can also take their pick of membership options, including one that gives them unlimited time on the ranges (that’s right, there are two practice facilities).

It’s simple: golfers want choices. At the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, there are plenty.

And those choices are for golfers of every ability. With multiple tee boxes on each course, players from beginners to pros will find just the right course to fit their game.

“Our three Pete Dye Courses provide a challenge for golfers of all skill levels,” said Jeff Reid, general manager. “With five sets of tees, we provide playable conditions to suit everyone. For example, the scratch golfer can play the Wolf at over 7,600 yards while the beginner can play it at 5,100 yards. With three more sets of tees in between, you can find the yardage that works best for everyone. Coupled with the playability of our courses, the pristine course conditions year-round and our amazing desert landscape views, you are truly in for a one of a kind golf experience.”

Checking out all three courses, players will find lush and dynamic layouts.

Let’s start with the one everyone talks about: The Wolf Course. This layout stretches out to 7,604 yards from the tips and is one of the best challenges around. One of the highlights is the world-famous par-3 15th. This hole plays over 200 yards from the back tees and it’s into an island green. This hole is tough and scenic and will test players’ shot-making…just like the rest of the course.

Snow Mountain was the first layout unveiled at the resort. It plays to just under 7,100 yards from the tips and features impressive par 3s, rolling fairways and brilliant bunkering.

And then there’s Sun Mountain. Players will face a 7,112-yard layout. The 9th and 18th holes, a pair of tough par 4s, are outstanding finishing that can definitely make or break a round.

So whether you’re looking for a spot to play just one round or that perfect location for a membership, the choices (as well as options and prices) at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort will certainly satisfy golfers’ needs.
