Bright Future Evolving for Legacy Golf Club

Courses all over are closing, but that isn’t the case at Legacy Golf Club in the Las Vegas Golf Region. New owners initially shuttered the course but just a couple months later re-opened it and now a dramatic new plan is playing out and things are looking up for the course and surrounding neighborhood

Legacy is now operated by Elite Golf for the new owners, who have invested in improved conditions and upgrades. The new owners understand the importance of the course to the neighborhood and are embracing the future.

Make Your Legacy Tee Times Now

“Golf has evolved over the years and prior to us purchasing the property, Legacy was not keeping up with the times,” says Eddie Haddad, one of two primary new owners. “We are committed to providing golfers and our neighbors a package of amenities that will benefit everyone. There was a missing link at Legacy and we are now filling the void. Also, the name Legacy is closely associated with this entire area and we are now creating something unique and appealing for everyone in the community.”

“What comes to my mind is that Legacy is a Henderson and Las Vegas tradition and it is coming back to life,” says Derrick Hunter, Elite Golf director of operations. “Not only are we returning the course back to what it once was, I believe it will be better than ever with the new development plans and continued investment that has been made already in course and facility repairs. Legacy had—and still has—a very loyal following and it has been nice to see many of them return and see the sense of excitement they have. We are way ahead from where we were in 2018 because of the investment made and we expect a terrific spring, summer and fall. Another neat thing is that the course rejuvenation and upcoming projects will bring value and breathe new life into the entire area and community. This is going to be a place that people really want to be.”
