The old adage is that “there is no such thing as a free lunch.” Well, Aliante Golf Club in Las Vegas is turning that phrase around by offering a free lunch with a paid round during July 2019. Rates for loyal Las Vegas residents are lower than visitors but everyone enjoys the free meal offer. The special is from at least now through the end of July that gives players (with a tee time before 10 a.m.) a free lunch after the round.
Aliante is a par-72 course that was designed by Gary Panks. It is one of six area courses managed by Elite Golf. The layout stretches to 7,022 yards from the tips (5,340 from the forward tees) and has two of the main golf traits golfers are on the lookout for–playability and challenge.
Water comes into play only two holes at Aliante, No. 11 and No. 17. But don’t think that makes this course a pushover as an arroyo slices its way around and through many holes during the round. The arroyo may show up on a tee shot or it may be fronting a green for an approach shot, but players will definitely have to keep the arroyo in mind before pulling the trigger on shots.
