There are two Tom Fazio golf courses at Primm Valley and they live up to the billing as all Fazio desings do. The Lakes and Desert courses are located on the California and Nevada border and offer easy golf packages plus room and golf packages with the casino/resorts located a couple minutes away. You owe yourself to make Primm Valley part of you Vegas golf plans.
From LasVegasGolfInsider.com and Bill Bowman:
Over on the Desert, which plays 7,131 yards and is a par-72 design, players will find an impressive contrast to The Lakes. There’s still water to get players’ attention, but the desert landscaping adds a nice scenic change to the layout. One of the more visually enticing–and challenging–holes is the 204-yard, par-3 9th. Players will take aim at the green from an elevated tee some 40-50 feet above. The green is guarded by bunkering as well as a pond…one of five water holes on this layout. But to be sure, and as Fazio said, “this is a golf course in the desert and not a desert course” so players won’t encounter a lot of target play and overly-penal holes.
