LAS VEGAS, Nev. (March 8, 2017)–Here’s your chance to play a little golf and give back to those who have sacrificed to help keep us safe. The 6th Annual HPD Golf Tournament will be held at The Legacy Golf Club on May 6, 2017. The tournament will be an 18-hole, four-person scramble with a 7:30 shotgun start. All proceeds will benefit the Henderson Police Honor Guard. — By Bill Bowman.
Cost for the tournament is $125 per player and includes golf as well as breakfast and lunch. Foursomes are $500. There are also raffle tickets (30 for $20) and mulligans ($5). HPD challenge coins are also available for $10 and there will be an awards ceremony, prize drawings and the raffle as well as beer, beverages and water.
The Legacy is an Arthur Hills design that stretches out to 7,233 yards from the tips. It also features one of Vegas’ most impressive holes, the par-3 10th. This 193-yarder is definitely the signature hole of the course and maybe in all of Las Vegas as the tee boxes are shaped like the four suits in a deck of cards: club, diamond, heart and spade.
Sponsorships for the tournament are available including: tee box signs ($150), fairway banners ($250, your choice of fairway and name on luncheon sponsor banner), cart sponsor ($1,000, sign on each golf cart as well as name on luncheon sponsor banner) and Adopt-A-Hole sponsor ($2,500, with your chance to put a booth on a hole if desired along with your name on the luncheon sponsor banner). The golf cart sponsorship includes entry for two golfers for the tournament and the Adopt-A-Hole sponsorship includes a foursome into the tournament.
